Human Resource Director
The Human Resources Director is responsible for overseeing all areas dealing with federal and state regulatory compliance, employee recruitment and selection, employee retention and development, policy and procedure implementation and interpretation, training, risk management, safety, and employee relations. Additionally, the HR Director will provide support, and serve as a strategic resource to the operations management team.
The ideal candidate will have solid written and verbal communication skills, the ability to adhere to the highest standards of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality, have solid organizational skills, advanced interpersonal skills (formal counseling and conflict resolution training helpful), and a thorough working knowledge of general HR practices.
This corporate based position will work closely with the Vice President of Human Resources.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS degree is required with a minimum of seven years HR Generalist experience and a concentration in training and recruitment. Must have strong business acumen along with solid judgment, relationship management and critical thinking skills are a must. Broad HR Generalist background with well developed management skills gained with increasing responsibilities. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of all HR disciplines and federal and state employment laws. In addition, candidate must be a customer-focused team player and be well organized with excellent communication and follow through skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to get along with a diverse group of personalities with the ability to establish credibility quickly is required.
